These Terms & Conditions govern the use of HouseLine Tickets, including ticket purchases, event participation, producer onboarding, payment processing, payouts, refunds, merchandise sales, and related platform services.

Platform Overview

House Line Tickets (sometimes referred to as "HouseLine") is a South African platform that helps producers, DJs, organisers, and brands manage events, sell tickets, offer merchandise, connect with fans, and operate event-related experiences.

HouseLine operates as a technology, ticketing, operational, and payment facilitation platform. HouseLine is not the organiser, venue owner, performer, or manufacturer of products sold through the platform unless explicitly stated.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, purchasing from, applying to, or using House Line Tickets, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any related platform policies.

Producer & Organiser Responsibilities

Producers and organisers using HouseLine are solely responsible for their events, products, communications, and operational conduct.

  • Ensuring event information is accurate, truthful, and up to date
  • Obtaining required venue permissions, licences, approvals, and operational permissions
  • Ensuring events comply with applicable laws, safety obligations, and regulatory requirements
  • Delivering events and experiences substantially as advertised
  • Managing event staff, security, crowd control, and venue coordination
  • Ensuring merchandise sold through the platform does not violate intellectual property, counterfeit, fraud, or illegal goods laws

Event Deposits

HouseLine may require operational event deposits before certain events are approved, published, or permitted to sell tickets.

Deposits may be used to support operational verification, fraud prevention, refund handling, payment processing, risk management, and platform administration.

HouseLine reserves the right to retain, withhold, or forfeit deposits in situations involving cancelled events, fraud, abuse, operational losses, chargebacks, policy violations, or platform risk.

Payments & Financial Processing

Payments on HouseLine are processed through trusted third-party payment providers such as Ozow and other approved payment partners.

  • Customers are required to pay the full transaction amount upfront before ticket delivery or order confirmation
  • Platform fees, operational fees, and payment processing fees may be included in transactions
  • HouseLine may temporarily delay, review, or withhold payouts for fraud prevention, operational reviews, disputes, chargebacks, suspicious activity, or risk management purposes
  • Payout timing may vary depending on operational reviews, payment provider processing, banking institutions, weekends, public holidays, or technical issues

Ticket Validity & Access

Tickets purchased through HouseLine are subject to validation and operational checks.

  • Tickets may include QR validation, unique references, or other verification methods
  • Duplicate, copied, manipulated, refunded, cancelled, or invalidated tickets may be rejected
  • Refunded tickets automatically become invalid for event access
  • HouseLine reserves the right to refuse access where ticket validity, fraud, or operational concerns exist

Refunds & Event Cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the transaction, event status, operational review, and payment provider processing.

  • Customers may qualify for refunds in cases involving cancelled events, duplicate transactions, technical payment issues, or approved operational exceptions
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers and banking institutions
  • HouseLine reserves the right to investigate suspicious refund requests, abuse, fraud, or chargeback-related activity
  • Producers may remain financially responsible for refunds, disputes, or operational losses linked to their events
  • Event cancellations may result in ticket invalidation, customer notifications, refund processing, and deposit forfeiture

Fraud, Abuse & Platform Protection

HouseLine reserves the right to investigate, restrict, suspend, remove, or permanently ban accounts, events, transactions, payouts, or platform access where fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, operational risks, chargebacks, manipulation, or policy violations are suspected.

  • Fake events, fraudulent tickets, payment abuse, refund abuse, impersonation, or manipulation are prohibited
  • HouseLine may cooperate with payment providers, banks, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities where required
  • Operational reviews may temporarily restrict access to funds, tickets, events, or accounts

Limitation of Liability

HouseLine is not responsible for injuries, damages, venue incidents, performer cancellations, weather disruptions, event quality disputes, organiser misconduct, third-party service failures, or losses arising outside the reasonable operational control of the platform.

Users participate in events and platform activities at their own risk, subject to applicable law.

Privacy & Data

Use of HouseLine is also governed by the platform Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, processed, stored, and protected.

Updates to Terms

HouseLine may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect platform changes, legal obligations, operational requirements, or security improvements.

Continued use of the platform after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law
